Messy Games
This past Terrific Tuesday I planned was "Messy Games". We got so so dirty and had a blast! There is nothing better than getting dirty for little boys and girls... and that is certainly what we did. A night full of corn syrup, eggs, flour, baby oil, shaving cream, etc.

VBS
This past week we had vacation bible school: Outrigger Island! What a busy busy week! VBS is always a huge undertaking but watching kids learn more about the Lord is always worth the time and effort. I thought my ears were going to fall off after the 5Th day of hearing my little preschoolers with tambourines and jingle bells! They were sure cute though!

Kelly and Jared Blumenberg
This past weekend I flew to Chicago to see my dear friends Kelly and Jared get hitched! I survived the ghetto of Chicago, a total of 24 hrs of travel time, and the storms of the north! It was eventful but so worth it! I love you Kelly and Jared!

Home is where the heart is...
This past weekend, I was invited to sing at the McKee wedding! Tyson, an old friend from high school, and I sang "The Prayer" by Josh Groban and Charlotte Church. We had a blast! I drove to Belton on Thursday night and Andrew then met me there on Friday night. This was the last weekend with my entire family all together under one roof. This coming Thursday Tessa will graduate, in 20 something days Travis will leave for boot camp for the air force, and come January I will be married! Toby will be the only one left at home... My parents will be empty nester's very quickly! We all went to the wedding and then the night after the wedding we headed down to the Beltonian which is a refurbished old theater with one movie showing at a time. Is is so much fun! You have to buy your tickets almost an hour before the movie starts just to get one! When you go into the theater you have waiters and waitresses dressed as different characters and they take your order, then serve you before the movie! My family and I watched Indiana Jones. My mom and I decided that it would make a great first date! Sunday at Church my whole family was there and my Mom was booming with pride! A good kind of pride! =-)! This weekend was great... we had a so much fun just all being together! That is what family should be!
