New Pictures!

The grandparents have been requesting some new pictures of Selah Grace.  So... I took Selah outside after church and started snapping away.  If any families in the area want some Christmas pictures taken then let me know.  You can email me at TerraCWagner@yahoo.com.  I am willing to do a $50 flat rate for 10 edited photos on a CD for you this holiday season.  I hope you guys enjoy the new photos of my 6 WEEK OLD!  She is getting so big.. yet she is so tiny :)

Also, Pray for me.. I go back to work tomorrow.
Lucky girl.  She already has her own personal transportation.
I can't wait until she starts giggling!
Sisterly Love.

Christmas is coming!

This week is my last week of maternity leave.  Just talking about it makes me tear up so I'll now change the subject.... CHRISTMAS IS COMING!

So... I started decorating for Christmas this past week.  It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside when I see Christmas decorations.  Andrew thought I was crazy to decorate before Thanksgiving but I wanted more than 4 weeks to enjoy it. And I don't think I am the only one decorating before Thanksgiving.  In fact, Andrew called me one day this week on his way home from work to let me know that I wasn't crazy... he was seeing lots of people put up their Christmas lights.

I haven't gotten everything out yet.  Just the big things.  Christmas tree, garland,  table centerpiece, etc. I'm not going to tell you how many lights I put on my Christmas tree this year.  You will really think I am crazy then :)
I love the memories our Christmas tree holds.  Like the snowflakes we used in our wedding.  Or the letter "S" ornament that Andrew found that matches the "T" and the "A" ornament for all of our names.  And of course the "Just Married" ornament that we got while on our honeymoon in the Smokey Mountains.  This year we get to add the "Baby's First Christmas" ornament to the bunch.

Friendsgiving

Yesterday, was our Friendsgiving lunch at church.  I had my friend Shana take a quick picture of Andrew and I since we were color coordinating as a family.  And let me tell you... it took SEVERAL tries to get both Andrew and Selah face looking peaceful and smiley. :)

Then after lunch, I chased the kids around to snap some pictures of all the fun.  Also, yesterday was adoption Sunday.  Now that I am a Mom myself, adoption tugs at my heart more than ever.  Our church is participating in Operation Christmas Child with Samaritan's Purse.  I encourage you to participate as well.  What a blessing we can be to those children that do not have a home during this holiday season.

Back to the beach...

3 and a half years ago, Andrew and I met at Mathis Lake near Corpus Christi Texas.  At a college event, I fell head over heels in love with that curly headed country talking guy.  He drove up in that black truck... windows rolled down and that curly hair blowing in the wind.  Sigh.  My heart still goes crazy whenever I think about meeting him for the first time.  He was so shy.  So cute.  I called my Mom that afternoon and told her, "Mom, I have met the man of my dreams.  I am going to marry him someday.  Just watch!"  True story.  Ask her if you don't believe me!  She laughed and said, "well, OK."

Fast forward to about two weeks ago and there we were... that cute curly headed man and I with our three week old embarking on a big ole trip.  Back to the place where we fell in love.  My Dad's parents flew Andrew, Selah and I down to visit.  They just HAD to meet their first great granddaughter.  We were able to see lots of family and friends.  It was a tiring trip but so good to see family.

Day Trip to Chattanooga

Yesterday... Andrew, Selah, and I took a day trip to Chattanooga, TN to check on one of Andrew's jobs that he is doing there. While there, we visited Mellow Mushroom, Ben & Jerry's, and took a stroll down by the water.  It was an incredible day to just get in the car and go!  Plus, The fall foliage on the way was really beautiful.  God sure knew what he was doing when he created this place!  FYI- Andrew is one heck of stroller-pusher. :)
