Selah & her puppies

One thing about Selah Grace is that she LOVES her puppies!  The living and breathing and stuffed ones :)
The past week, we have really enjoyed playing and soaking up the time we have together before Mr. Sterling gets here!

The countdown is on!

I had my 35 week appointment yesterday... and all is good with Mr. Sterling!  We went ahead and scheduled for me to be induced on March 14.  That is approximately 4 weeks :)!  This pregnancy has flown by and I am now catching myself frantically trying to prepare for his arrival.  Several people have asked, so here is a link to our Target Baby Registry.  We have everything like a baby swing, car seat, stroller (still need a double stroller though), bouncy seat, crib, changing table, etc.. but we do not have a pac & play, clothes, shoes, diapers, etc.  Registering at more than one place really wasn't that necessary this time around since the main things that we need are things that people love to pick out themselves for gifts.  So there you have it!
Sterling's nursery is coming along.. slowly but surely.

Sterling's initials are hung above his changing table

I bought this from pottery barn to use as decoration on Andrew's grooms table at our wedding since he graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical Aviation University.  It hopefully be perched on some floating shelves in Sterling's room.

The pattern for his bedding

The fabric swatches for his bedding

I hung up decorative vintage airplanes from the ceiling above his crib to act as a mobile.

The planes sway and twirl when the ceiling fan is on :)

By far my favorite part of the nursery so far!

I will be doing a whole lot more in his room this week and will promise to take better pictures in the natural sunlight so there will not be as many shadows and the hazy sunset color!  Just couldn't wait to show you what I have done so far!!  My goal is for his room to look very vintage aviator/Americana.  It's a hard color scheme and theme to shop for.  I am aiming to have his room done in the next couple of weeks.  Cross your fingers!

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day everyone!  I hope you are having a spectacular day today.  A while ago, Selah Grace and I had us a little Valentines photo shoot.  Below are some of my favorites.

Today started off with a screaming toddler at 2am... but it has gotten better, thankfully! After Selah and I got done at a women's bible study I help lead, we made our way into downtown Nashville to meet our Valentine for lunch. We decided to grab a bite at Maggianos. The place where 4 years ago, Andrew and I celebrated our engagement.

Today, we took our crazy toddler and my VERY pregnant self to the same place and had a great time.  It's not really a place to bring toddlers to lunch but we decided, "what the heck"!  It was special to sit there threatening Selah with spankings if she didn't stop screaming and remembering how skinny we once were.  Then we shoved our faces with pasta and left wondering when the next time we will get to come back.  HA!

We love valentines day!  Special memories :)

Our Saturday Morning.. in pictures.

A day at the park...

It has been WAY too long since I have blogged! Selah and I have been super busy getting things ready for Sterling's arrival in a few short weeks. We have also been extremely sick with the stomach bug that is going around. I cannot wait to post pictures of the finish product once I get Sterling's room together. In the mean time... here are a few pictures of my day at the park with Gracie girl.
