God Bless our Home

Andrew and I signed a lease on an apartment a week ago yesterday. I packed, moved, and unpacked in ONE WEEK! I like to think of myself as super woman! I am so relieved that it is done. I attached a virtual tour of our apartment mainly for Andrew to see it... since he is still in Corpus until we get married. Write comments, let me know what you think!! Two more full weeks of school and I am done... 49 days and I am hitched!! WOO HOO!

Soul Choir Retreat

Last weekend Soul Choir had a retreat at Michael W. Smith's Ranch in Franklin, TN. It was so neat to walk around and see pictures on the wall of MWS with Billy Graham, Ronald Reagan, George Bush, and George Bush senior. As I drove out there I thought that I was never going to make it because I had to take all of these back roads with no cell phone service at all! Once I made it... I was in AWE! MWS' ranch backs up to Amy Grant's ranch. When I woke up saturday morning I looked out of the window and there were cows in the front yard... it was quite a sight to see! I wasn't able to stay the whole weekend because I was moving all of our stuff into our new apartment!!! We signed the lease on November the 7th... we officially have our first home together... we are getting married in 6 weeks and then we will head to TN for our life together in our cute little apartment. Here are some pictures from MWS' ranch.. enjoy!

Coat of Many Colors

Everytime I see all of these beautiful fall colors around Nashville, it reminds me of the story "Coat of many colors". I love the fall! I was at a stop light in Bellevue the other day and I saw the hill off to my left and I had to snap a picture to share with you... isn't it beautiful?

Happy Halloween

I was a cat for Halloween... it was last minute but I was very proud of myself for being so creative with as little money as possible. Melodie was a bag of Jelly Belly's... the most creative, BY FAR! We aren't much for wild and crazy parties, so we decided to watch a movie and eat popcorn and ice cream. The movie we watched was Memento. It was weird... and confusing. When it ended, none of us had a clue what was going on and after sitting there for about 5 minutes trying to solve the puzzle- we gave up! Hana and her man, Wes, were there... we finally got to meet Wes. I hope you have a great time with Hana this weekend Wes! I am so glad that this week is over with. Andrew and I found a place to live and I couldn't be happier about it. It is coming so fast, we will be married in 63 days! Only a few more details to take care of before the wedding. We will have a place to live and I will be moving in a week with the help of friends. Pray for my sanity. And I am so excited to venture home for Thanksgiving! Woo Hoo!!
