It was super foggy on the way to school today. The visibility was only 200 ft or something crazy like that. While I was on the highway in this horrible fog headed up a hill all of the sudden the sun came over the horizon and slowly the fog drifted away. Sitting in crazy Nashville traffic, it was like I was the only one sitting on top of that hill with Jesus. The sun has been hiding for about a week now... very depressing. Seeing that sun peek over the hill and slowly raise was so refreshing to my soul.
When I arrived at school, I FOUND A PARKING SPOT... A REALLY GOOD ONE! Now all of you in Texas who complain about having to park mid-way in the WalMart parking lot have no reason to complain. Sometimes I have to walk 3 or 4 blocks to school because I cannot find any parking spaces. I am sure that my close parking space was a heavenly blessing.
When I got out of my car, it was dead quiet. This is RARE! NEVER NEVER NEVER is it that quiet on campus. I looked down at my watch and saw that it was 7:45 and I realized that I never really arrive to school that early so everyone had not started their trek to school yet. I had 5 minutes of quiet. As I walked I noticed that the birds were just chirping away. They were probably gossiping about Melissa on Dancing with the Stars last night or something because they were worked up!
Then it hit me... If praises to my Lord do not come out of my mouth, then even the rocks will cry out, the birds will cry out, ALL of nature will cry out! How many times do I walk to school, drive as the sun rises, get an incredible parking space and in everything I do praise his holy name?
When I arrived at school my first class was magically canceled, so here I am sharing my joy with you this morning! Here are some scriptures that remind us that we MUST praise his name in everything that we do and say!
Luke 19:40 (New International Version)
"I tell you," he replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."
"I tell you," he replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."
Matthew 27:51 (New International Version)
At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split.

Psalm 69:34 (New International Version)
Let heaven and earth praise him, the seas and all that move in them,
Let heaven and earth praise him, the seas and all that move in them,
Psalm 66:4 (New International Version)
All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to you, they sing praise to your name." Selah

I'm a bubblin' with tears :) and making a commitment to help those who can not help themselves which includes the creepy crawly's; the birds of the air; the fish of the sea; "The People" and animals of the Earth; and so much more....
